Julie Hare

Julie is a freelance journalist and also currently associate editor (Australia) for UK policy blog Wonkhe (pronounced Wonky) where her focus is on drilling down into the detail and consequences of higher education trends and pollcy. After seven years as the higher education editor for The Australian newspaper, Julie is well known to the tertiary education sector. During that time, she led a small team of award-winning journalists who held a well-deserved reputation for the excellence of their coverage. Before that Julie was editor-in-chief of APN Educational Media and editor of the niche title Campus Review, a small publication with a big reputation for its in-depth reporting and analysis.
