October 30, 2015

menadue-coverMany of you will have read one or more of the policy essays published earlier this year on John Menadue’s blog as part of a series on “Fairness, Opportunity and Security: Filling the Policy Vacuum“, which is now also the title of the book of those essays. Edited by Menadue and Michael Keating, the book launches next Thursday in Sydney with guest speaker Ross Gittins.

Covering topics such as democratic renewal, the role of government, foreign policy, retirement, population and migration, the arts, security, health, environment, indigenous affairs, welfare and inequality; the essays challenged readers to consider solutions not presently on the table of public debate.

The event takes place from 3:30 pm – for a 4:00 pm start – on Thursday, November 5, at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Level 17, 8-12 Chifley Square, Sydney. No bookings necessary.

For a limited time, the book is available for $45 (paperback) and $65 (hardback).
