Australia’s top bureaucrat has shared some leadership advice for the Southeast Asian region’s next generation of change-makers.

Melbourne played host to the special summit this week, representing an event with the PM&C secretary’s name all over it.

Firstly, the Herculaneum effort required to pull off the multifaceted program of academic, cultural, educational and business events was centrally organised by Professor Glyn Davis’ own department.

The army of very helpful public service foot soldiers shepherding media representatives back and forth around the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre were drawn from a wider cohort of the APS and even some state public servants from Victoria.
