The Mandarin has compiled its yearly list of what the federal department bosses make, according to their respective annual reports for 2022-23.

Cumulative remuneration

The list below ranks secretaries from their respective department’s 2022-22 reports based on total remuneration, including superannuation contributions and termination benefits.
