One of the findings of a SaxInstitute report commissioned by Aboriginal Affairs NSW was that Indigenous people living in NSW are “extremely impacted” by food insecurity, regardless of geographical location.

The report found the prevalence of severe food insecurity in very remote NSW was 75%. Interestingly, the report found similar levels between regional (52.8%) and urban (53.1%) areas.
