Home Affairs’ first goal should be completion of the extremism inquiry

The mention of an Australian terrorist who killed 51 worshippers at a Christchurch mosque in March 2019 in a manifesto of a young man who killed 10 people outside a Buffalo store is a reminder that there is a piece of unfinished business for the Australian parliament.

That Australian terrorist was mentioned along with other individuals who are seen as inspirations by people who, for whatever reason and by whatever means end, up believing that people of other races, creeds, ethnicities, abilities or otherwise or even by choice of reference are lesser beings.
