A senior doctor working across multiple Melbourne hospitals that include Box Hill Hospital, where a cluster has grown to 11 cases, issued a warning at the ABC yesterday over the facility’s infection-control measures.
Speaking anonymously, they argued that fit-testing of N95 face masks — which is used to evaluate the fit of a specific make, model and size of mask on an individual and to ensure that it is worn correctly — is still not being done.
